One of my favorite comic book series, Metropol is a cool mix of post-apocalyptic caution and "Escape From New York" paranoia.Citizens of the city are blockaded from the rest of society and have to survive without institutionalized order. In a constant state of mayhem, the city divides as otherworldly monsters battle predestined angels. The story is complex and secular.
And the art is FANTASTIC.
